Well, here is the first in a collection of photos I've been taking to represent phobias. I find it fascinating, the way that things that cause so many so little harm or hassle can create such strong emotions such as fear to some people.

Equinophobia or HippophobiaFor example, the horse. A majestic and beautiful animal, used for years as a beast to help people with transport and entertainment. Owned as a pet or for work by many people. Yet there are peopel out there who are terrified of them. The size, the smell, the power. This horse here is a stallion at the stud near to my college in Essex. I think this protrays the power and size that people fear (as well as that wild glint in his eye)
